The English name for this term is "Free Carrier (... named place)", which means "the goods are delivered to the carrier (... named place)". It refers to the seller's responsibility to deliver the goods they have handed over to the carrier designated by the buyer for custody at the designated location after customs clearance. According to commercial practice, when the seller is required to cooperate with the carrier through the signing of a contract, the seller may proceed accordingly, provided that the buyer bears the risk and cost. This term applies to any mode of transportation. When adopting this delivery condition, the buyer shall bear the cost of entering into a transportation contract from the designated location and promptly notify the seller. According to the 2000 General Rules, if the agreed delivery location is the seller's location, the seller is responsible for loading the goods onto the carrier designated by the buyer. If the delivery location is another location, the seller completes the delivery on their own transportation without unloading.
